Cartoon Network has a vast vault of kids’ favorites. They’re now offering viewers a ‘MyCN’ service which brings them into the new sphere of social networking. Have they managed to pull it off with flair or does MyCN dive-bomb? Let’s find out.

My CN gives kids access to the shows, games, cartoons and videos on the main site. It has a ‘favorites page’ to add links to those shows, videos and games that they like and play the most. There is also a trophy room where kids can display cups and prizes won with games that offer them.

MyCN has a social networking element where kids can create a profile page, add friends and use a messaging facility. However there is no forum or chat, just e-mail type contact and kids today expect a bit more than that.
