Webkinz is a kids social networking website and their chat feature operates on two levels; the first level just offers pre-selected phrases and the other allows free type but only accepts words from their dictionary of acceptable words. Parental permission is needed before kids can access the chat facility and there is also a reporting mechanism for any inappropriate chat that still filters through. The site has a policy of no personal info being shared, keeping the chat safe and fun.
