Remember Pacman? This blast from the past still holds the affections of many and freepacman.org will be bookmarked by those who are keen to rekindle some long forgotten flames.

Pacman was a giant back in the 1980s and a forerunner to mobile gaming for kids. It is a classic that older gamers will enjoy but will leave younger players cold.

Retro Fun for Some, a Modern Day Bore for Others

This is no leading edge game with 3D graphics, explosive sound effects and a confusing array of action. It is simple, retro fun for aimed at ‘big kids’.

The site itself is simply a page; no articles about Pacman, no Pacman forum, no retro fun at all.

It could have been a meeting point for nostalgic gamers but instead serves up the bare minimum. Freepacman.com lacks originality and fails to impress.

How good are the game graphics? This grades the quality of the CGI graphics and animation of the games feature on the site..

The only high tech element of the game on pacman.org is that it seems to run faster than its predecessors. Big wow.

OK, how fun is this site? Are there games on offer? Does it do stupid things to photos? Run stupid competitions? We gave extra points for craziness..

We’re split on this. On the one hand the older gamers will be in their element and have an enjoyable trip down memory lane, on the other…. it highlights just how sophisticated modern gaming has become and when compared to today’s fast-paced, multi-action, interactive games pacman flops on the fun factor scale.
