Cybersitter protects kids safety in three ways:

•   Monitoring and blocking of web contents and sites. It records all visits and filters out undesirable sites. Parents can customize the ‘banned list’.
•   Recording live chat and even search terms typed into search engines.
•   Monitoring or blocking of incoming and outgoing emails.
•   Controls computer access with set access times for users.

Parents receive daily activity reports by email.
The parental control software is undetectable on installed PC and users will not be aware of its presence.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

The navigation on Cybersitter looks like it’s been designed by a 2nd grader. By clicking on ‘features’ on the top menu you are taken to an information page.
This page has a sub menu of features at the bottom of the screen that you can click on, however the menu bar is so badly positioned and you actually need to scroll down to see it. A poorly designed site.

How good are the descriptions of the products on this site? Does it use easy to follow language or complex computer jargon? We evaluated the descriptions displayed..

This site was hard to read (small text), boring to look at (black and white) and the information was minimal and sometimes contained jargon. Terms such as ‘phishing’ and ‘proxy server’ were not explained.
The Cybersitter online kids safety product is one of the lowest priced on the market and, likewise, their website has a cheap feel about it too.

It can also find malicious spyware and not only filters for this but scans the hard drive for any dubious material.
