This is a small, family run site that has grown into a massive directory. One of the sections is Entertainment, containing links to many online film and online TV shows sites. DozenReview.com decided to see how such an operation would fare against the bigger players.

The kids TV section of KidsOLR.com lists movie and television sites in alphabetical order. There is scant information on each and no categorization to help selection at all.

There are a decent number of sites listed however their presentation lacks clarity, graphics and interest.

Unusually, this site has a postal address as the only form of contact. Very disappointing and most people from the modern age would be unlikely to put pen to paper to send either praise or queries. Perhaps that’s their intention!

There is very little help given to visitors to this site. The only navigational aid is the alphabetical ordering of the listed sites. Comparing it to other sites, such as NickJr, put this site to shame.

The programs Kids OLR link in to may well be a bundle of laughs, but this site certainly has no sense of humor.

Why is it different to other kids TV sites? We graded originality and innovation..
Imagination and originality are sorely lacking at Kids OLR. It has some great links and the overall site has its uses… but there are so many others out there doing the same thing so much better.

Can you trust this site? This grades the site's suitability for children. Does it give parental advice? Does it link to unsuitable sites? Does it lead to download viruses?.
The site had very few adverts and the content of this area plus the parent site, was all wholesome. However, there was no warning screen when leaving the safety of the site and some of the sites linked to were aimed at older kids, for example E Online, which although pretty mild itself, has links to sites which are more adult in nature.
