As you would expect, this kids TV shows site has lots to offer, all based around Cartoon Network and Boomerang shows. You simply click on the characters you like and are given access to games, videos and downloads. Disappointingly, the videos are only in the form of short clips, not full length episodes.

There is also a ‘MyCN’ page that you need to register for, that introduces a points system for games and includes a message board.

Navigation uses graphics; kids just click on a cartoon character to get to the resources available for that show. There is also limited categorization, ‘games’ and ‘videos’ but this could be improved upon further.

There are lots of imaginative features on the Cartoon Network site. Great themed activities based on shows and characters, lovely graphics and nice touches like the downloadable wallpapers and ring tones. There is a ‘Do Not Press’ button on the homepage, which has some funny consequences if you listen to the rebel inside you and click on it.

The site is wholesome and safe. MyCN includes a message board facility but this has good inbuilt safety nets and a there is also the facility to create a Parental Control Account linked to your child’s account so that you can monitor their activity.
