It is comforting to see that modern versions of traditional pursuits are also capturing kids' imaginations.   Shockwave list the Daily Jigsaw as the fourth most popular game with a startling 65,039 plays.

Most Rated Games

Kids may have been playing the games above, but did they rate them? Interestingly, non of the top 3 most played kids games appear in the most rated list!   The three most rated games on Shockwave over the last week were:

*      World Roundup rated 4.76 stars out of a possible 5
*      Jumble Crosswords rated 4.75
*      Jumble Solitaire rated 4.72

Again it is nice to see two traditional pursuits in this list.

The Old Ones are the Best!

While most will imagine kids engrossed in gory adventure games and noisy car chases, it makes a pleasant change to discover that a few old favorites are engaging today's cyber surfers.   Who'd have thought it, jigsaws, crosswords and solitaire reign supreme, it's enough to restore our faith in humanity!
